Preliminary treatment
- The substrate must be clean, dry and grease-free. Remove loose old paint residues and rust and lightly sand the surface. Do not apply a primer.
Varnishing
- The substrate must be clean, dry and grease-free. Bring the spray can to room temperature. Ideal application temperature 15 to 25 °C. Shake aerosol for 2 minutes before use and spray a test piece sample.
- Distance to the surface to be treated approx. 25 to 30 centimetres. Apply the heat resistant lacquer in several thin layers. Before applying the next layer, shake the aerosol again.
- Leave to dry for one hour at room temperature. Then heat for 30 to 60 minutes (160 °C) to harden the varnish layer. During the curing process, smoke is generated from the lacquer.
- After use, spray the valve clean (hold the spray can upside down and press the nozzle for approx. 5 seconds).
- The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity and the applied layer thickness
